After a hurried breakfast I hoped across from my hotel to the waterfront to see what the South China Sea looked like. Gorgeous blue skies with puffy clouds greeted me. The sea likes always looked spectacular. Colourful fishing trawlers and shiny yachts completed this picture postcard scene.
Kota Kinabalu’s waterfront is a bustling part of the city where locals and tourists gather to watch the sun go down and enjoy the cool sea breeze. The famous Filipino market comprising a wet market, a vegetable and fruit market, eating area and a handicrafts section is also located along the waterfront. Read about it here.
