Skywatch Friday – Kabini, Karnataka

It was a normal day in the forests of Nagerhole National Park. We were cruising on the Kabini river on our evening boat safari watching heards of elephants, spotted deer and sambar grazing on the green banks. The heat of the afternoon was giving way to a cool evening breeze. The sun was on its way down and was playing hide and seek with the clouds, making the scene dramatic. The dead tree trunks rising out of the river only made this scene more beautiful giving it an almost Jurassic park like feel.
